NavDP support speed control to ensure that your vessel meets its port schedule. Multi speed DP allows for seamless transit from holding position next to a delicate gangway to transiting open seas in time for crew and passenger changeover. Optimum acceleration and deceleration at regular ports allows for slower transit speeds greatly reducing fuel consumption.
Ease of use with multiple one button operations enables most DPOs to master the NavDP with ease. Importing routes directly from a wide variety of planning tools both improves productivity, accuracy and fuel economy.

The NavDP can sit under glass with a wide choice of professional looking monitors and joysticks that can be tailored to your specification. Not only does it look good but it allows for a clear, intuitive and fully integrated bridge. Industry standard dimming controls are available as both master and slave.

Navis supports charts, asset plans and cable/pipe routes mapped onto its charting system. With the increasing availability of scanning based sensors (Laser and Radar) Navis now support live scans to be mapped onto the DP chart allowing for maximum situational awareness whether looking out of the window though a cluttered construction environment or onto the screen. Scanning instruments can now give tugs a full 3D image of their immediate surrounds supporting automatic collision avoidance of superstructures.
NavDP have been pioneers in multi-speed DP systems allowing operators to dynamically adjust speed through operations. This feature enables 100% DP operations from port to port whether mooring a superyacht in Antibes or optimising the daily transit across the channel.
